International students
The Centre of Polish Language and Culture for International Students (Studium Języka i Kultury Polskiej dla Cudzoziemców) offers courses in Polish as a foreign language at various levels.
AMU international students enrolling on bachelor’s or master’s degree courses taught in Polish are invited to attend compulsory classes in Polish as a foreign language:
- for students on bachelor’s degree courses (and combined bachelor’s/master’s courses) taught in Polish: 120 hours (4 semesters x 30 hours, final examination at C1 level);
- for students on master’s degree courses taught in Polish: 60 hours of Polish as a foreign language (2 semesters x 30 hours, final examination at C1+ level).
Students on bachelor’s and master’s degree courses taught in English or other foreign languages are invited to attend a one-semester Polish language course focused on communication (60 hours) with the possibility of continuing in subsequent semesters.
