Bębny koreańskie

Jesteśmy kółkiem tradycyjnych bębnów koreańskich samulnori (사물놀이). Samulnori to zestaw 4 tradycyjnych perkusyjnych instrumentów - małego gonga (gengari), dużego gonga (jing), okrągłego bębna (buk) oraz bębna w kształcie klepsydry (jangu). Każdy z instrumentów przedstawia inny element pogody - gengari przedstawia grzmot, jing - wiatr, buk - dźwięk chmur a jangu - deszcz. Tradycyjnie grali na nich koreańscy rolnicy podczas plonów, by uczcić dobre zbiory. Zaprezentujemy utwory, które przekażą ducha tradycyjnej koreańskiej muzyki.

Korean drums

We are a group playing traditional Korean drums called samulnori (사물놀이). Samulnori is a set of 4 traditional percussive instruments: a small gong (gengari), a large gong (jing), a round drum (buk) and an hour-glass shaped drum (jangu). Each instrument represents a different element: gengari is thunder, jing is wind, buk is cloud and jangu is rain. Samulnori was traditionally played by Korean farmers during harvest to celebrate good crops. We’ll play pieces that will bring to life the spirit of traditional Korean music.
